John Miller is Vice President of Education
for Connect Through Music and brings years of awarding-winning band direction and music leadership to us. He has assembled an outstanding music education team that advises Connect Through Music.
Dr. Matthew Arau, Founder of Upbeat Global, is an Associate Professor of Music and the Chair of the Music Education Department and Associate Director of Bands at the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wisconsin. In addition, Dr. Arau is on the graduate conducting faculty of the American Band College of Central Washington University and graduate mindfulness faculty at VanderCook College of Music. He also serves as a Conn-Selmer Education Clinician, a Connect Through Music Education Consultant, a Member-at-Large on the NAfME Council for Band Education.
Christine Wolf teaches middle school band in the Davis County School district in Utah. She knows what students need to learn to become a clarinet player and what you need to support your clarinet players in your band.
Chard is an award winning educator who has taught middle school band for 30 years. He understands the day to day of a band teacher and is excited for what CTM can offer you.
